our story

Lighthouse Stage School was founded in 2020 under the name Pembrey and Burry Port Town Council Youth Theatre. Our first show in November 2021 was Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat. Since then we've put on between 1 and 3 shows a year. And we perform at local events to support the community.

What we are about

inclusivity

We don't require auditions and everybody gets a part. And since we are a non-profit organisation, we keep our session fees low, so everyone who wants can join.
Kindness

Lighthouse Stage School is all about making new friends and boosting confidence. We value kindness and compassion and don't accept bullying of any kind.

We want our members to have the best musical theatre experience possible. That's why we invest everything we earn through ticket sales and session fees into making every show as amazing as we can.
Giving Back to the community

We are grateful for the support of Pembrey and Burry Port Town Council and proud to give back to the community through performances at local key events and through donations to local charities.
